Class Offerings
HOT offers Obedience, Rally and Conformation classes in our indoor, fully air-conditioned , fully matted ring to the public and to club members. All levels of Agility are offered in our lighted, regulation Agility Field.
All classes are taught by members of Houston Obedience Training Dog Club. Each instructor has been an active member or the HOT Dog Club for a minimum or 2 years during which time they assist classes and then serve as a provisional instructor under the supervision of a full time instructor. Instructors of advanced classes have earned the equivalent title on their dog and our CGC Prep Class is taught by certified CGC Evaluators.
Class sizes are limited and filled on a first come, first served basis. All students must pre-register for classes. This includes new, returning, and member students. Walk-ins are not accepted. You may pay online with a credit card or debit card. However, your registration is not complete until we have your 1) class fee 2) approved class registration & 3) a copy or your dog’s Rabies certificate.
We teach group classes and dogs that are aggressive toward people or other dogs are not allowed in classes. We would encourage you to seek a private instructor to work on those issues with your dog.
